Who Should Attend?
Operators of Plant and Machinery on site who have some degree of knowledge and/or experience of the machine (unsuitable for novices)
CONTENT
This is an assessment programme rather than training, primarily aimed at employers seeking to obtain a competency certificate for their own employees to meet Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 requirements*. Our Assessor will visit you on-site using your machine and take you through a series of manoeuvres to prove competence. You will then be issued with a 4 year competency card. Should the Assessor feel the candidate needs further practice he will make recommendations and return to reassess at a later date.
Categories of plant include dumpers, roller, excavators, telehandler, forklift, lorry loader, tractor, MEWP, side-loader, loading shovel, dozer.
